The Property is located approximately 4 km northwest of Greenwood, B.C. and consists of a total of 6 mineral licenses encompassing an area of approximately 380.64 ha. Saville believes the Bud Property has potential for copper-gold skarn mineralization and potential for gold bearing epithermal veins.
The Bud Property is situated within the highly-mineralized Boundary District, which includes the Republic, Belcher, Rossland and Greenwood Mining Camps in southern British Columbia and northern Washington State, and has total past production exceeding 7.5 million ounces gold. The 2018 field program at the Bud Property consisted of the collection of 20 rock grab samples from bedrock at the eastern portion of the property. When assayed, 7 of the samples returned values greater then 1.0 g/t Au and 1.0% Cu, suggesting that elevated gold values seem to be associated with elevated copper values.
Two samples collected in 2018 are worth noting: sample 12898, which returned 4.57 g/t Au and 6.70 % Cu; and sample 4297, which returned 6.84 % Cu and 4.44 g/t Au A third grab sample, 12893, returned 7.14 % Cu and 1.23 g/t Au.
